How to Use
The following is a description of the video.
* Use regular gasoline for fuel and refuel with the engine stopped.
- Open the fuel valve.
- Flick the engine switch to "運転" (Run).
- Pull out the choke lever.
- Pull the rope and start the engine.
- Put the choke lever back.
- Turn the breaker to "入" (On).
- Insert the plug.
* In terms of disaster prevention, the use of generators at night is prohibited.
- When you rent a generator from the Hokkaido University CO-OP, a Petrol Carrying Can with petrol is provided. When storing petrol or when purchasing additional gasoline, be sure to use this Petrol Carrying Can.
- Use regular gasoline for the generator fuel. Do not use any other fuel. If the generator breaks down due to the use of other fuel, the repair cost or replacement cost will be borne by the group.
- Do NOT mix the petrol with other fuel. There is a risk of breakdown.
- We do not sell petrol at the Rental Company Tent. Please purchase it at a gas station near the university.
- Because of the risk of gasoline spilling, always perform a gas release (air release) when opening the lid.
- If there is petrol left in the generator after buisiness hours, please return it as it is. DO NOT spill the remaining gasoline on the road or pour it down the drain.
- Put the generator in a horizontal place.
- When it rains, set up the generator inside the tent and make sure the plug part of the generator does not get wet. It is less likely to break down if you prepare vinyl tape and tape it. Also, be sure to take the exhaust port of the generator outside.
- When you start using the generator, be sure to return the choke to its original position. Every year, there are many breakdowns due to forgetting to return the choke.
- Please put the Petrol Carrying Can in a horizontal place inside the tent where direct sunlight does not hit.
- To prevent fire due to sparks, do not place flammable items (vinyl, paper, etc.) near the generator (especially near the exhaust port).
- Drum cords should be fully extended before its use.
